It has a) given me time to roll my little table to the middle of the platform! and b) served as a weekly reminder that we are looking together at God’s power to wash us thoroughly, to cleanse us completely of all that would rob us of life abundant.
And so the series concludes this Sunday with a message called The Second Wash in which we’ll look at some long-held but often-forgotten truths that have been at the core of the Methodist movement.
The day doesn’t finish at 12:30 p.m., however.
On Sunday night at 7 p.m. we’ll have our first ever Baptism Celebration. Outdoors! On the lawn! Two pools going at the same time.
If you aren’t pursuing baptism for yourself, you can still come and celebrate with those who are going public by getting wet.
