This Sunday, August 16, 2020, we start a new chapter in the middle of this surreal season at Good Shepherd: a simplified outdoor worship service at the Moss Campus at 8:30 a.m.
Wha-what?
Yep. We are committing to the next seven Sundays at least — August 16 through September 27 — weather permitting each time.
There are actually SIX things to know in the graphic above. To that, let me add what to expect:
A simplified acoustic music set
A sweaty preacher
A message coming from whatever series we are in (which means we will finish “It Runs In The Family” this week and then begin “Help! I Need Somebody!” on August 23.)
Our 10 a.m. livestream service will continue as is. So the Sunday preacher will give the outdoor message and then run inside, cool off, probably change shirts, and then preach live at the 10 am broadcast.
We sure hope this touch of “live” portends more good to come.
