Why am I looking forward to church on Sunday?
1. It’s choir Sunday, which means a raucous, celebratory, full color explosion of praise on the platform.
2. The whole church has been praying in the same way all week. The PrayFast Prayer Guides have been a complete revelation. So many of you are telling me and other staffers how helpful and useful this tool is in growing your living relationship with Jesus Christ.
3. I get to speak on a bible verse that for many years I haven’t so much misinterpreted as much as I have misunderstood the expression on Paul’s face when he dictated it. Huh? To get a sneak preview of what I mean, check out I Thessalonians 5:14-17.
4. We will give away a tangible, practical reminder of Unending Prayer. But you have to be there to get it.
5. It will all be done well before the 1:05 kickoff at Bank Of America Stadium.
