It’s HARD to stay connected with the congregation and the community during the various Covid shutdowns. It is especially challenging for our Family Ministries Team, those who minister to parents, children, and volunteers alike.
That’s why I was pleased to get this message sent to our Family Ministries Department:
Hey I just wanted to share with you how something GS did through covid is having a lasting effect in our home. We have been using the burger prayer to help the kids pray every night. I made them each a burger from cut pieces of felt that they build as they pray every night. It honestly helps me too!! I wanted to just let you know church is doing a good job checking in and supplying tools. You can reach out your hand but you can’t make someone grab it.
