The Bible Study book Solve was released on May 17, 2016.
The 2015 Solutionists series and the book that comes from it are both based on Nehemiah, one of Scripture’s neglected superstars.
As I was involved in the creation and editing process, I wanted to reach out to other churches and Bible study groups for the purpose of a group-wide study. I envisioned it because the sermon series was used for one of Good Shepherd’s Radical Impact Projects — an act of collective generosity that has a major effect on a community.
In the case of Good Shepherd, the series led to a record-setting food drive in support of Loaves & Fishes ministry. If the book Solve is well implemented, churches and leaders can replicate use the subject matter to begin their own community impact project. Whatever the project, Solve will certainly help to motivate leaders and congregations to “just do this”.
On Monday, June 20, 2016, I’m hosting a Book Signing Celebration for Solve, and I hope you’ll join me. The book will be on sale for $10.00, and 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated in honor of another recipient of our radical impact projects, On Eagles Wings Ministries. President and Founder of OEWM, Emily Fitchpatrick, will be on site to answer questions about the organization and current projects.
If you’ve been looking for a local resource to learn about the impact of church-wide Bible studies or sermon help and outlines, I encourage you to mark your calendar and attend this event. I look forward to seeing you there!
